Apple Adds Gadgets To Its Gear

Apple Mac ProAs if the iPad and iPhone 4 weren’t enough to keep tech savvy people entertained, Apple has revealed the new model of Mac Book Pro on Tuesday.

This new desktop that is geared for the power computer user incorporates quad core and 6 core Intel Xeon processors. This massive customizable system has nearly unlimited capabilities. With the possibility of 12 processing cores, four 512 GB solid state drives and four 2 TB hard drives, there isn’t much that can’t be done with this system.

The powerful new Mac Pro goes on sale in August and will retail beginning at $2,499.

The technology giant didn’t stop there. Continuing its year of innovations the iMac received an update as well. Fans of the all-in-one will love the view on the 21.5 inch monitor. Also boasting a 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3 processor, 500GB hard drive and ATI Radeon HD graphics processor, this is a system made for the long haul. They start at $1199.

Tuesday saw the release of the 27 inch LED Cinema Display. Retailing at $999, this monitor is meant to be combined with the Mac laptop and desktop. It comes complete with the iSight video camera, microphone, speakers and a USB 2.0 hub. Apple is on a roll this year with the new releases.
In all the releases, surprisingly the lowest cost is the one that is creating the biggest stir. The $69 “magic trackpad” is quite the buzz among blogs everywhere. It allows simulation ofr the MacBook Pro touchpad for desktop users. It is larger than the notebook touchpad.
